In Reply To HOWE seems to be the best as far as cooling etc >> posted by wesman [92TT-less ] on November 30, 2001 at 04:49 PM

Message between the two. I ran without thermo, he ran with thermo. In the same time frame, with a/c on, at 2k rpm, contstant for 10 minutes, his temp stayed perfect at 180, mine without thermo never exceeded 200. I would think that they are both equally good but I REAAAAALY like my Howe. I can run a 160 thermo and it will stay at 160 even after hard runs in mid summer day heat. I'm not running a shroud and am planning to go to an electric fan soon, cooling shouldn't be an issue. Good choice for a radiator, just a few mods and I spoke with a Howe rep that said they would be willing to whip up some Z Howes if interest is good enough.
